10:30am Pirate Grand Promenade
Pirate crews and individuals will line up for the Grand Invasion Promenade through the streets of Cedar Key. At 10:30am, Pirates in their finest will walk, saunter, or swagger to a pirate beat in glorious display.
City Park and then a parade through the main streets of Cedar Key (route will be shown on official pirate map of Cedar Key!)
11:45pm – 6:00pm

12:15pm Kids’ Treasure Hunt Begins
Children of all ages will delight in searching for buried treasure with the infamous Captain Bloody Sam Rackham of The Cursed Few. Follow him on an adventure a dig for a real chest, who knows what it may contain.

1:00pm Weapons Check for Battle Participants
Mandatory weapons check at Garrison tent for all battle participants. Garrison has final say on who can and cannot fire.

1:45pm Historic battle for Cedar Key
Watch as pirates from all over try and take Jean Lafitte’s treasure as his men try to remove it from the island. Will the Garrison be able to keep the peace? Or did someone bribe them… Black powder and live steel in use. (Participants must register here)

6:15pm Pirate Memorial Service
for pirates lost over the years (send us pirates to be honored)

come on over and join the pirates for rousing sea chanties and nautical tunes – fun for all ages!

Weather permitting there will be a magnificent sunset best viewed from a tour boat or at the sand spit at First and G Streets.
